"1. Cherry-pick from the texts 2. Ignore difficult texts 3. Admit that we don’t know what the text means and hope that future research will shed light on the meaning." Make sure to use that against him every single time he tries to assert something from the bible. Also, nobody does number three, it's a cop out. Whenever somebody gets trapped with a paradox or starts to get behind in a debate, they throw out #3. #3 actually goes against his argument as well, because he asserts that the bible means love and should guide us and other BS like that...
