Great post Johnny, interesting the whole way through. I wonder if the reaction would be as inflammatory if a different line had been chosen.

“A brotherhood of man.”

And Lennon was very clever, Imagine no religion is probably the strongest anti-religious thought you can vocalize that isn’t blasphemous. The man really knew what he was doing. In my mind at least, bigger and better than Jesus.
